The Exploding Egg
We create a small amount of hydrogen gas and fill the empty egg shell with it. With a small flame and some oxygen entering in the bottom of the egg shell...Kaboom! We also do a larger more exciting reaction called the WHOOSH bottle which can only be done with high ceilings. |
|
Air Cannon
We use air cannons equipped with fog create a visible doughnut shaped ring. |

Puking Pumpkin
We put 30% hydrogen peroxide and dish soap in a container within the pumpkin. Then we put a pipette of saturated potassium iodide into the container. Wait a couple of seconds, then BAM the pumpkin starts puking out its guts. |

Burning Money
We soak a bill in a solution of 50% ethanol and 50% water. The money itself will not become burnt due to the high vapor pressure of the ethanol, letting only the ethanol burn off. This leaves only water left on the money. |

Oobleck
We demonstrate Non-Newtonian fluids with oobleck. Oobleck is a mixture of water and corn starch that normally is in a liquid state; however, when put under pressure it becomes a solid. The vibrations of the bass creates enough force to make the oobleck become temporarily solid. |
|
We use liquid nitrogen to make delicious ice cream. The liquid nitrogen rapidly freezes the mixture, allowing the fat and water molecules to stay very small. This makes the ice cream very smooth and creamy, while preserving the nutrients. |

Experiment Stations
We do polymer reactions to create slime, super-absorbant solids, chromatography flowers, ghost crystals, gas properties, rocks and minerals, liquid nitrogen graham crackers, gigantic bubble, and many more
